Manusia Dan Lingkungan: Upaya Khalifatul Ardh Merawat Dan Melestarikan Kemurnian Lingkungan Berlandaskan Sunnah Nabi Saw

Abstract

: Islam has regulated all the ins and outs of human life very well and systematically. There is not a single issue that is not discussed in Islamic studies, including environmental issues. Humans as caliphs on earth are the main actors in caring for and maintaining it so that it is always in its beauty and prosperity. Through the guidance of the Qur'an, the Sunnah and the maqashid sharia, humans receive guidance on how to care for their environment. This study uses the library research method as a reference. This paper aims to examine the role of humans as caliphs on earth in caring for and preserving the environment according to the guidance of the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ. As a result, the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ provides specific demands on how preventive measures can be taken to preserve the human environment both on land, at sea and in the air. These demands can be realized optimally as long as various agencies struggle with each other to pay close attention to it, both the state, mass organizations, religious councils and educational institutions.
