Konsep Ramah Lingkungan Dalam Bingkai Islam

Abstract

The concern for the harmony of nature in Islam is unquestionable. It is ecologically that humans are part of the environment, and all living things that exist are a source of life. This environment provides the various sources of needs that become the carrying capacity for human life and other creatures as mentioned in QS 45: 12-13. Therefore, the nature is so beneficial for humans to fulfil their needs and survival, so the blessing of nature also depends on human wisdom in managing to it. It is emphasized in the Qur'an as in this verse (طهرالفساد في البر والبحر بما كسبت) that nature is not only seen as a provider of the necessities of human life, but also at the same time, it is a place where humans interact with the surrounding nature in full of balance and harmony. Therefore, if there is something a damage in nature, it is certainly due to human intervention in over-exploiting natural resources, resulting in the scarcity of natural resources and pollution. Moreover, this issue has become part of the world's issues because of the impact where is produced by the damage in covering all parts of the earth. Then, in the context of Islamic values regarding the preservation of the surrounding nature and human responsibility towards that it has been discussed through the works of scholars since long ago with the term fiqh al-biah (the fiqh of the surrounding nature), which is philosophically in its discussion relates to the preservation of the surrounding nature. Then it is mentioned in this concept of fiqh that there is a connection with the worldview, namely the derivative of the concept is very important, especially the ideas which are contained in the concept of fiqh of the surrounding nature has become an important discourse. Moreover, the ideas of friendliness to nature are very useful guidelines in the management that are contained in the concept of Islamic city as it has existed as exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad PBUH since long ago.
