Aktualisasi Dakwah Pemuda Persis Sumedang: Dari Literasi Keislaman Hingga Kesadaran Ekologis

Abstract

This study examines the actualization of Islamic Youth Da'wah of Persatuan Islam (Persis) in Sumedang in strengthening Islamic literacy while fostering ecological awareness in the community. The main purpose of this writing is to describe the actualization of da'wah carried out by Persis Sumedang youth, especially in developing Islamic literacy and implementing it in various da'wah activities. In addition, this paper aims to describe the application of da'wah bil hal in activities related to environmental conservation. Persis youth not only prioritize oral and written da'wah but also through real actions such as involvement in the Persis Natural Disaster Alert (SIGAB), tree planting, and nature-based activities. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and described descriptively. The findings show that Persis Sumedang youth actualize da'wah bil hal as a strategy to respond to environmental issues while strengthening Islamic literacy, which emphasizes that da'wah is not just discourse but a concrete action that reflects Islamic values in social and ecological life.
